Betting on the peas[]

When Hurley talks with the widow of Timmy (or Tommy?), she narrates that her husband once betted the numbers on the amount of peas in a bottle. I'm curious how this was possible: 4 815 162 342 -- if written as 1 number, you get billion(s) at the least, while if you multiply the numbers together, you get 7 418 880. Simple addition would work, of course, but then again they claim nobody could guess the count, while Tommy guessed the amount "exactly" - which makes simple sum (108) not that impressive. Attention Admin: Error[]

Hi all, in the blue/purple box at the top of this and every season one page, the link to "Numbers" does not link to this article, but rather to the artcle regatding "the" numbers, IE 4 8 15 16 23 42. Can someone with the proper access please fix this? Thanks. --Jeff 14:42, 25 February 2009 (UTC)

Falling man[]

Someone suggested this could be Locke. Anyone have a screen capture on man who is falling outside the window during Hurley's meeting? Lost-Media doesn't have that bit. He might deserve his own page. --Jackdavinci

Carlton Cuse in Numbers (for trivia?)[]

In the scene where Hurley finds out that he's won the lottery there is a woman speaking to a man in the background, on the news. I'm sure the man speaking is Carlton Cuse. He sounds just like he does on the podcasts. "That's right Mary-Jo, because this is the sixteenth week without a winner."Can it be added to trivia? Blooper[]

Marta relates that she and her husband were hit head on by "a pick-up truck," which is an American term. Bad enough that we have to suspend disbelief with the fake Aussie accent, must we also allow that she wouldn't use the proper Aussie term "ute"? Or can we consider that a blooper? If her husband was American, as I suspect based on the fact he was in the U.S. Navy stationed in Australia, she might be used to calling it that because he used that term. self-destuct bunker trap[]

can someone please tell me if the the wire jack tripped was meant to harm sayid? danielle rousoue knew 1 day sayid would come back and bring others so she booby trapped her camp. if this was meant to harm sayid then why didn't it? the explosion was to far away to harm him and jack.

Bogus numbers formula[]

I've removed the trivia:

The numbers can be generated by the equation $a_{i}=a_{(i-1)}+a_{(i-3)}+a_{(i-5)}$ . EXAMPLES: -3+4+15=16; -1+8+16=23; 4+15+23=42

This formula is just plain bogus. Sure it works, but only because you're feeding it the first 5 numbers, and "magically" getting the 6th out. --Chesebrgr 13:55, September 18, 2009 (UTC)
