Hurleys Camaro ist ein Chevrolet Camaro (ca. 1970–1972), der eigentlich seinem Vater David Reyes gehörte. Als David seine Familie 1987 verlies wanderte der Camaro in Hurleys Besitz.(„Tricia Tanaka ist tot“) Nachdem er die Insel verlassen hatte, fuhr Hurley das Auto während einer Verfolgungsjagd mit der Polizei.(„Der Anfang vom Ende“)
Vor dem Absturz
Im Jahre 1987 versuchen David Reyes und sein Sohn vergeblich das scheinbar kaputte Auto zu reparieren. Sie kommen zu dem Schluss, dass das Auto einen neuen Vergaser braucht. David erzählt seinem Sohn, dass er vorerst nicht am Camaro weiterarbeiten kann, weil er nach Las Vegas fahren muss. Im Nachhinein betrachtet verlässt er daraufhin sein Familie für 17 Jahre. In 2004, following Hurley's lottery win, David Reyes returned to his family at the request of his Frau, trying to talk Hurley out of his belief that his lottery Zahlen were cursed. To his surprise, he found out that Hurley had kept the car for 17 years, still in the same state it had been when he had left his family. David tried to talk Hurley into trying to fix the car again, but instead, Hurley decided to leave for Australien. („Tricia Tanaka ist tot“)

Following his return from Insel, Hurley had apparently managed to fix the car and was driving it. Following a run-in with what he believed to be the Geist of Charlie Pace, he fled in his car, resulting in a car chase with the police. The chase began at the convenience store where he had had the vision. The chase continued into an industrial area where he drove it through a stack of papayas.
Hurley baut einen Unfall im Camaro („Der Anfang vom Ende“)
The chase then continued onto a freeway where it was filmed by a helicopter television news crew from Action 8 News, and broadcast live, where Jack observed it while having a Drink. The car chase ended near a "Circuit House" store parking lot with the Camaro becoming airborne and subsequently Unfall into a Golden Pontiac, followed by Hurley's arrest by the Polizei. This final sequence was filmed by his former boss and employee Randy Nations, who was working at the "Circuit House". („Der Anfang vom Ende“)
